Rob Halford and Scott Travis of Judas Priest.Judas Priest won the Grammy for Best Metal Performance for "Dissident Aggressor" from their album "A Touch of Evil Live". This is Judas Priest's 5th Grammy nomination.
The Grammy for best hard rock performance went to AC/DC for "War Machine" from "Black Ice".
It's the first Grammy win for both bands. And the 5th nomination for Priest. It's about time they've been recognized! It seems the Grammy's are finally getting more and more with it. This year's performances on the awards show were some of the best ever! Some of the highlights were Lady Gaga and Elton John performing together, Pink, Beyonce, and Bon Jovi with Sugarland's Jennifer Nettles.
